I am an agent for Morepower and have the needed software to program and adjust the box to suit a range of popular 4 Cylinder Japanese Common rail diesel 4x4's. I have been selling and installing this sort of equipment for nearly 8 years now in Brisbane but recently moved to Biloela.
These systems really come into their own when towing or 4wding, that is where economy benefits are the greatest. Towing programs can sacrifice a little economy in city traffic but the gains when towing or driving on sand, climbing hills and 4wding can be significant! Plus you won't need to ride the clutch so much as significant torque improvements are made very early in the rev range.
If economy suffers too much for your particular use we can tune back towards an Eco program, which will loose a little grunt down low but still give good mid range and top end power for overtaking and the like. We also have other products that can help with economy, see www.airvortex for more info.
This particular system connects in between each individual injector and the loom connected to the injectors using factory plugs. The only other electrical connection is to the battery. The system uses next to no power when the engine is switched off so it won't flatten your battery.
To disable the system for any reason simply disconnect the large plug attatched to the box or remove the fuse. The vehicle will then be back to standard.
The box will come pre-programmed for your particular vehicle and any mods you may have done. Any fine tuning can be done at time of install if done by me or at a later date if required.
There is no user adjustment on these systems due to the complicated 3D mapping used which enables the system to achieve better torque and drivability than other similar styled systems on the market. The only adjustments available on this type of system is via our tuning software
